I am a second year clinical psychology doctoral student currently completing my practicum at Renova. My therapeutic approach is primarily integrative with a solid foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which allows me to tailor treatment to each patient’s unique needs and experiences. I am passionate about empowering my patients through evidence-based practices and techniques such as diaphragmatic breathing and fostering resilience as they deal with life’s many challenges.

Originally from California and raised in Texas, I discovered my passion for psychology during my undergraduate studies. After earning a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), I worked with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and complex behavioral needs. I loved seeing the lessening of maladaptive behavior in my patients over time and with serious dedication. This ultimately reinforced my passion to continue working in the field. These experiences also inspired me to broaden my clinical focus, ultimately leading me to pursue a career in clinical psychology in San Diego to work with even a wider range of individuals.

Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations across many age groups and in a variety of different settings. These experiences continue to shape my growth as a clinician, and I remain committed to providing the highest standard of care as I develop in the field.
