Janet is currently on a dedicated path to earn her Master of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Alliant International University. Her academic journey is enriched by her prior accomplishment of a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration from San Diego State University. Simultaneously, Janet contributes her expertise to Kaiser Permanente, where she serves as a Solution Consultant in the Information Technology department.
Janet’s transition from a technology-centric career to her pursuit of becoming a therapist is inspired by her personal experiences with the profound impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on individuals. What drives her is an unwavering passion for supporting clients on their path to mental wellness, recognizing its vital connection to overall health.

In her academic journey, Janet has had the chance to explore a variety of therapeutic approaches, but her heart has always been drawn to Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). It was a special moment during a couples’ therapy session that really struck a chord with her, seeing firsthand how EFT could create lasting change. This experience ignited a passion in her, driving her commitment to learning and practicing EFT as a way to empower and support her future clients in their quest to emotional and mental well-being.
Janet’s dedication to this approach fills her with excitement and a sense of purpose. She’s genuinely looking forward to making a positive impact in the lives of those she has the privilege to serve.
Janet is available for clients at our Mission Valley office and virtually on zoom.
