Maria is currently serving as an Active Duty Member in the U.S. Navy. She is also seeking to help individuals and family units navigate through their emotions and relationships while creating a safe environment. The collaborative relationship that she aspires to develop will provide empathy and warmth to support the healing of everyone who meets her.
As a native of Mexico, she is bilingual which can assist individuals and family units from diverse backgrounds. Maria aspires to help everyone strengthen their relationships with others and self which can lessen the impact of life’s struggles. I plan to utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy so you can achieve your goals together and create a better life for you!
Before pursuing a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, she focused her attention on developing her military career for sixteen years as a Navy Career Counselor. Career Counseling allowed her to provide support to Sailors and Naval organizations worldwide. While in this position, she was assigned great trust on all matters dealing with Career Development. Through this work, she found her love for helping others and strengthening relationships through mindful advice for personal and professional goals. Maria looks forward to working with you all!
