Dr. Lisa J. Palmer-Olsen, Psy.D. is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in San Diego, California for over twenty years. She is also a Certified International Emotionally Focused Therapy Trainer and AAMFT approved Supervisor.

Originally from San Diego California, Marisa Reynoso is a two time alum from San Diego State University. Marisa earned her B.A. in Communication and M.A. in Education with emphasis in Multicultural Counseling.

I ground and orient my work in attachment theory and with an emotion-focused lens, recognizing that our emotions are often some of our most powerful messages about our needs, desires and how we are experiencing our world.

We often believe that the physical or emotional resources that we desire are limited or scarce. We engage in attitudes and behaviors that achieve short-term gains at the cost of lasting satisfaction, contentment, or peace of mind. These patterns of behavior can eventually impede our very ability to recognize or experience what might assist us in moving toward our goals and heartfelt desires.

Dedicated to the belief that everyone can benefit from therapy, I embrace the courage it takes to invite someone into the intimate realm of life experiences. Born and raised in Arizona to Mexican immigrant parents, my upbringing fosters a deep understanding of multi-generational cultural nuances and the challenges of biculturalism and bilingualism (Spanish).

Dr. Villodas is a professor in the psychology department and the Director of Graduate Student Diversity at San Diego State University. She is also a clinical psychologist and serves as a clinical supervisor for one of the top Clinical Psychology program, SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology.

Kat Liedberg is our Client Care Coordinator and the office manager at our Carmel Mountain location. She is our go-to professional for inquiries regarding billing, scheduling, referrals, and intake coordination.

Kore believes that all people are capable of transformative healing when met with compassionate care. She seeks to meet her clients with empathy and curiosity and
feels privileged to walk alongside them on their journey. Kore is passionate about diversity and inclusion and strongly believes that all relationships and identities are
valid. As such, she honors that clients are the experts of their own lives and seeks to provide a safe and affirming therapeutic experience.

I am a bilingual (Spanish and English) and bicultural board certified Pediatric and Adult Psychiatrist who enhances the biomedical treatment of psychiatric wellness with more in depth psychotherapy work with children, teens, adults and families.

I have almost 33 years of therapeutic experience with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have provided services in many different treatment environments with telehealth recently figuring most prominently.

Mariah earned an M.S. in Child Development and an M.S. in Marriage & Family Therapy from San Diego State University. While studying Child Development, Mariah was introduced to Attachment Theory, which states that humans need to be in relationship with others as a means to survive.

Espen has nearly 20 years’ experience as a psychotherapist and is dedicated to being present in each session with you.

I am of Indian origin, born in North Dakota, USA, but raised in Kolkata, India. I went to medical School in India before moving back to the USA. I am bi cultural and trilingual (English, Bengali and Hindi). I work best with adults, late teens, and young adults

Victoria de la Torre is passionate about opening up the  conversation around mental health in families. She believes in an  open dialogue regarding the concerns and issues that many  families face. As an advocate for mental health, Victoria is  dedicated to working closely with children as they navigate the  dynamics of childhood.

As a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) trainee, I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families in navigating life’s challenges. Currently pursuing my Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University- California School Of Professional Psychology, I am excited to apply my knowledge and skills to help clients create positive change and foster healthier relationships.
